Description
Book your summer get away and escape the city to a location that has it all. Stroudsburg, PA is a small college town ( East Stroudsburg) just past New Jersey and the Delaware Water Gap. The best part is it’s only 1.5 hours from NYC.
Located minutes from the Delaware National Recreation Area with it’s mountains and trails to hike or bike, and swimming, kayaking or tubing right on the Delaware River. This sprawling private finished basement apartment has a tremendous kitchen, bathroom with tub and laundry room. The spacious backyard has a private patio and overlooks tall trees on a 2 acre lot setting. Three bedrooms in total; one with a firm mattress, one very soft and one medium firm. The couch can also pull out for an extra full/queen bed. The space can sleep 8 but will very comfortably accomodate 6.
BONUS: A shared oversized in-ground swimming pool and lounging tent for shade and stargazing. The property is far enough from other houses and surrounded by nature but has the convenience of being just 5 minutes to Main Street – a quaint town with cute shops, bars and restaurants as well as a 24 hour Wawa. For take out or dining nearby we recommend Momento Italian restaurant, Greek Islands, Caribbean spot, Spice Route Indian food and of course Jimmy’s ice cream open every day until 10pm!
The Shop Rite super store, Weis Markets and Aldis are right there if you prefer to cook at home. Literally every big box store you can ask for (Target, BJ’s Kohl’s, Best Buy, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot etc etc) is within a 10 minute drive.
Do not miss the thousands of acres of National Parks, water falls, mountains, golf courses, lakes streams and hikes that are also only minutes away, some you can even walk to!
You’ll be less that 20 minutes to famous Pocono sites like Pocono commons, Mount Airy lodge and Casino, Mt Pocono, Camelback water park, Shawnee Ski area.
Weekend and weekly rates are available. Sorry, no dogs – the apartment is fully carpeted. Please contact Vanessa to inquire about pricing dates and details.
